The focus of this course will be on developing the theory and practice of modern embedded systems technology, with a focus on the platforms of FPGAs (field-programmable gate arrays) and single-board computers. This course will build on the prerequisite course Digital Electronics and Microcontrollers, in which the analysis and design of digital systems composed of discrete digital components and microcontrollers has been developed.
