This course allows students to undertake a research project worth 12 UOC total (enrollment in 6 UOC per semester over two semesters). Students are required to select a research problem, conduct literature review, define the problem with necessary assumptions for formulation and representation of the problem, select and/or develop appropriate solution approaches, collect data and prepare them for model/problem solving, conduct experiments, analyse results and write a report.
