This course covers the principles and applications of solving material science and engineering problems through computational approaches. Students will have the opportunities to understand how computer-aided design, computational fluid dynamics, density functional theory and machine learning can be used to solve problems in the areas of fluid dynamics, electronic properties of advanced materials, and ultimately, de novo predictions of new functional materials.
